Pilates - Wellness with Abbs


By participating in any online class provided by Wellness with Abbs, you consent to, and agree to release the Company and their Nominee/s from all liability according to these terms. This waiver will apply to all classes and any activities undertaken by you. 

1. Booking and Payments: 

Clients must book sessions in advance through our booking system or by contacting us directly. Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the session. Bookings for classes close 1 hour before class start time. 

2. Cancellation / Rescheduling:

Clients must provide at least 3 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. The session will be forfeited if canceled fewer than 3 hours before class. Failure to attend a booked session without prior notice will also result in forfeiture of the session fee. 

3. Health Disclaimer:

Wellness with Abbs is not a medical organisation and its instructors cannot give you medical advice or diagnosis. All suggestions and/or comments relating to the use of equipment, poses, moves and instruction are not required to be performed by you and are carried out at your election. Nothing contained in the Service should be construed as any form of such medical advice or diagnosis. By participating in the Pilates classes, you agree to accept the risk associated with any physical activity. By using the Service, you represent that you understand that physical exercise involves strenuous physical movement, and that such activity carries the risk of injury whether physical or mental. You understand that it is your responsibility to judge your physical and mental capabilities for such activities. It is your responsibility to ensure that by participating in classes you will not exceed your limits while performing such activity, and you will select the appropriate level of activity for your skills and abilities, as well as for any mental or physical conditions and/or limitations you have. 

4. Injuries and Health Conditions:

Clients must inform via email, or at the given opportunity by the instructor in a private message via the zoom chat to the Instructor, prior to each class commencing, any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or inhibit your ability to participate in a class, this includes, but is not limited to: injuries, pain or recent surgeries, pregnancies, heart conditions and any other condition that may be of concern. We reserve the right to refuse service if participating would endanger the client's health or safety. Clients participate in sessions at their own risk and are responsible for any injuries that may occur. 

If returning to movement post surgery or injury, you must provide a medical certificate outlining that you are fit to return to Pilates, and have been cleared by your GP or health specialist.

5. Participation Requirements: 

Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled sessions. Appropriate attire, such as comfortable workout clothing and preferably non-slip socks, should be worn during the session. Clients must follow instructor guidelines and refrain from disruptive behavior during sessions. Client’s attending are fully responsible for the safekeeping and surroundings during the online live session.

6. Pregnant and postnatal clients:

If you are pregnant, you must advise Wellness with Abbs prior to undertaking any online class. We welcome pregnant clients, but in order to make sure that the Services are safe and appropriate for you, Wellness with Abbs requires that you provide a letter or certificate from a doctor or medical practitioner that states that you are medically fit to do Pilates. Postnatal clients also must produce medical clearance from a doctor to ensure it is safe for them to return to exercise. 

7. Privacy Policy 

Client information, including personal and health data, will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing Pilates services. 

I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Wellness with Abbs Pilates or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes. By booking a session with us, clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
